The enclosure actually sits right at the piviot of the seat hinges and his amp and battery are sitting on the folded down seats. This is kinda for 2 reasons really. 1 to give the bitch some room to breathe and produce and so he can get used to not using the back seats as they wont be around much longer, but thats all i'm saying about that part until a later date.

As far as those of you that arent digging the port cut back, i originally designed this to be tuned at 30.5, but being Apple is a bit of a metal head the tuning was moved up to 32 to help with it reproducing double bass kicks a little stronger. That being the case the port had to be 5 inches shorter and being this is a tapered design it would have been a severe whore to keep the line length where it needed to be to tune to 32 and make it a squared off even Enclosure. Besides, with it being cut back a hair, it gave it a little more room to breathe and produce a little more in relation with cabin gain rather than being choked off closer to the rear hatch door....

I have to say it Chris!!!!! This thing is f'n ridiculous!!!!!! I run 2 15's with 1000watts on each in a cute little sunfire, and this thing on only 600 or 700 watts in a blazer, was putting my system down. Not only was it dropping lower, it was tighter, and way more ruthless. Props to chris, can't say it enough. I can't say it was insanely louder than mine, but it was much more ruthless with the air movement. 1 15 making the ceiling of the blazer bow like mad!!!!! body, roof, interior, everything was just goin crazy. I am blown away by the performance of the enclosure. Plus the fact that the speaker had issues makes it that much more impressive. PROPS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

did you have more power and hand to see what the max you could run into this box I'm guessing 700 watts is pretty close to the max if that's a regular lvl 4

there is actually more power that can be had out of the amp that is in the blazer currently, however with the current state the sub is in, it is actually seeing a higher resistance that it normally would running in parallel. when the sub was pulled out of the regular ole ebay ported prefab he had it in and had been sitting around a bit, eaglescorpio noticed it had a broken tensil lead so we had to solder to that broken tensil with some 12 gauge awg wire and use it as the actual negative terminal. what should be 1 ohm that amp is seing b4 box rise is now 3-3.5 ohms. Needless to say, the bitch needs a recone

Dang, this is about exactly what I have plans to do. Just to help out on my calculations, any idea what the total size of the box is?

Ill probably be building a t-line for a pos 12 here pretty soon unless loganberry will sell me one of his subs....

Anyways, definitely get some video up... im anxious.
