Why does the width of the port vary so much? it seems to go from a "medium" width, to a "larger" then to a "smaller" and then back to around the same as it started? I realize it was said it was a taper, but isn't that usually just from one size, big or small, to the other? kandiman71874 Posted November 26, 2008 Report Posted November 26, 2008 somehow i knew that was gonna come up as soon as i posted the design lol This design is a twist on something that i actually have figured out messing with a few of them on the higher powered side and it works out nice. i actually stumbled upon it by accident on a placement error when i was building one a while back and the response and smoothness was actually better for the higher power application i was doing than a standard constant equal port chambered design. accidents happen at times, sometimes its a bad deal, sometimes ya stumble onto something that blows your mind with its results ... Being yours is an f motor and you have no specs on that particular sub, its hard to say to be honest. all i can say is build it if you want to, try it and see what ya think.
