All Night Long
Meade, I have a question for you about my new car. I have a 2002 Ford Focus ZX3 hatchback and 2 DC level 4 12 with 3000 watts to the subs. My question is do you think that I should do the subs up and the port back, the subs and port both back, subs and port both up, or subs foward and port back? This is going to be a bassrace car, but they can get loud so I will do drag for fun. I want it to be loud and I can see tuning it in the 36-39hz range for a bangin daily system. I may change my setup to 2 15's or even a single 18, but I'm going to have to run the 12's for now due to lack of funding. If you could help that would be awesome man! There is a thread on my most current setup in the DC section, but it is in my Escort not my Focus(Just got it today). Thanks Steve
jsmoke222000
First & foremost, your site kicks ass! It has really grown in the last few months. Definately one of the best kept secrets on the net. My question is this: How did you blow up so fast? My thought is ofcourse the "My eye popped out video", that's what brought me here. Any advice on how to attract traffic to my website. I just added a forum & I'm hope that it will get a few hits. I also put links to your site on my homepage. Kinda an offering to the "Car Audio forum Gods"!!! Visit My Website Jared Nixon A.K.A. They do not stand behind their products & their customer service is horrible. They do not actually manufacture lowering springs, they drop ship them from Spring Tech. Chasistech.com also does business as Airbagit.com, Streetridepro.com & Truckinsuspension.com. They are all the same company! Do not trust these bastards! Their products are cheap & more often than not, you don't get what you actually order in the first place! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

skynoverya550
Steve, Im kind of lost on this build, ive always has suv's and tons of room to play with. on my new truck i dont have much room to work with. I was hoping to get some advice. 2008 silverado 2500hd Crew cab Option 1 would be 2 10's. ( box from caraudiofactory.com) which would all for 8"s of mounting depth and .86CF per side. Option 2 they make a box for 2 12's as well same mounting depth and air space. I have heard from people on other forums, that these are decent made boxes, and there systems turned out great. I really dont have a buget set for amps and subs. Can you reccomend any subs that may fit my needs? I was thinking about running FI audio subs with a cadence amp, possibly running PG psd 6 1/2s off a audison lrx 300.4 i have. or possibly buying some focals or rainbow components. Im assuming for harder hitting bass obviously the two 12's would be my best bet. but im up for suggestions! thanks in advance!
KT_Kustomz
I've got 4 Kicker CVX 12's and 2 Kicker ZX1500.1 and I'm stumped on a box design. I have a 97 mercury mountaineer and I wonder should I face them up with ports facing rear hatch or should I just face the subs and ports backwards? I have had alot of luck with all my subs facing backwards but I have seen many facing up like the Tahoe.
