Check it out :)

We made a ghetto box last night for some 8s -- 1/2" thick MDF, no bracing, we did not actually calculate the tuning or volume so don't ask *laughs*

* Bass Race Run

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f_FN83Ut62s

* Burp Score

But yes... the E8s have some good SPL potential.

One 3000D - on paper 1/2 ohm nominal but the DMM read 1 ohm at the end of the wire.

This was in Brandon's Bronco -- has two broken roof braces and tends to be quieter than the Jeep.

I'd bet in the Jeep it would have been a few dB up.

Unless we made the box smaller I don't think more power is an option - they get moving! :)

But I do think in a half decent box six to eight of them would do a 150 in the Jeep.

This box is literally 1/2" MDF with no bracing... only brad nailed and glued together. Brandon needs his rear seat for the time being and wanted some bass in the back so it was a quick toss-in.

I want to see it in the Jeep in a real box with a pair of 3000s strapped on them. 150 deebeezzz!!!!!

They would probably hit 150 just moving over to the Jeep with out another 3000.
