i use bolts to however the mose effective way is to drill little holes and run wire from the amps directly to the sub..that will allow the mose juice to flow, it your not gonna do that then your restircting the flow wnyway so almost any regular bolt will suffice....

not entirely true.

the bolts I use have 0/ zero resistance, im not losing anything.

thx for all the input guys... in terms of millimeters what is the thickness you guys use? the guy at the hardware store said 10 mt not sure what this mean. The reason why i like the rod or bolt idea is for easy configuration changes while keeping it clean. most terminals on the market dont really do it for me. you guys mind posting a pic or 2 up of how you have done it?

im going to use some rod for bracing as well, so some pics of that would be appreciated as well.

thx

this was a dry fit but u get the idea... i didnt take a pic after i installed all the washers and nuts tho

ReAudioSE0842.jpg

1/4-20 steel threaded rod from lowes

brass washers and nuts and wing nuts all work well, o and silicone to seal (as if the washer against the mdf wont)

heres what i did

wing nut-nut-washer-ring terminal-washer-nut-washer-mdf- reverse

works great.. its overkill but whatever

look into just plain ol dowel rods too, doesnt have to be threaded rod for support...

get 1"+ and its just as strong without having to drill holes and seal
