duct_tape123 Posted December 10, 2008 Report Posted December 10, 2008 It should be fairly easy to do, I had a 'burban with a pair of SE 12's behind the 3rd row and it slammed! It you used all possible area in the back you should be able to get 13-14ft^3 below the window line. I'll dig up some pictures of my set up if I still have them.

duct_tape123 Posted December 12, 2008 Report Posted December 12, 2008 Yes, I had my amp under the second row drivers side seat. I just ran the wires to the box, and when I needed to use all of the space I took the fuse out of the power wire and took the sub box out.

In a suburban is there anyway you could mount the amps under the 2nd row seats and run wires to the back to a set of mounted terminals so you could disconnect and remove the subs and the 3rd row seats if needed? i have two 15's in sealed boxes in my 01, i made an amp rack under the sub box that holds my 3 amps, i will try to take some pics and get them on here for you. i did two 3 cubic ft boxes for mine. my subs face the back and i have about 10" in front of them. the sides of the amps all face the back so that i could get to them if i need to adjust. it was a pretty easy set up to do, you just have to make sure that there is enough space for the amps to vent. i used 3/4 mdf on the bottom to mount everything to, then i cut strips out of 3/4 to rais the amps up a bit so i could run wires under them then i made some blocks that were made of like 4 or 5 lyers of 3/4 that went between each amp and along the back so i had a riased surface to mount the top sheet to, then the top sheet of 3/4 that gave me about 1" of airspace above my amps then the boxes are mounted to the top and i am still below the top of the third seat. i hope that makes sense. again i will try to post some pics on here or you can email me and i can send you some.
