Do you have tool box in the bed of the truck? If so put the amp there.

I highly doubt that if the subs are firing forward and the amp is partially blocking the sub it will have much of an affect on output. I ran my amps on the floor like this for awhile.

I can't believe that amp is 40" long. The RF T4k isn't even that long.

It's 40" long. They call it the 'Surfboard' for a reason.

Also because it's actually 2 amplifiers on a single PCB internally strapped, which tends to add to the size, heh...
