Beanz
well thats what i plan on doin is putting both subs in the same enclosure but should i put each sub in their own chambers or jsut have it in the big box? Quote That's why they don't deliver. Yer ass better go sit along the side of the road and wait. You can't expect them to travel up some dirt road in a hick / back woods town. Thats how horror movies start I explain things very simply and use analogies in terms of Pickles, and grape drink, pool noodles and jackhammers...if you can't put 2 and 2 together there man, There simply is not much more I can do. eliassami5
When u get your screws make sure you get the 2"-2 1/4" long ones with a gap between the head of the screw and where the thread starts (the shank), this helps to pull the two sheets of MDF together instead of stripping the first sheet and then pulling on the second sheet. You will want the screw to look like this: Not like this: And definitely do not get fine threaded screws, just a little bit of tightening and they will strip out the hole. A double baffle means that you use two sheets of MDF where you would mount the sub woofers to the box, this will greatly decrease flex. This is an example of a double baffle: Edited December 27, 2008 by eliassami5 Quote 91' Jeep Cherokee - The Heep Just Empty Every Pocket 96' Volvo 960 - The B◘x [sPL_4_U] HiFonics - Alpine Pioneer - Clarion Infinity - Kicker KnuKonceptz

amazinblazin10
everybody is saying double baffle and stuff and bracing with rods with 2x4s and stuff, but in my opinion you only need that extra bracing if your going to be pushing some real serious power... what kinda speakers and amp are you gonna be running?
