So I hooked up and installed my Termlab last night and everything works great. I'm excited to use it, but I want to know if there's anything (other than in the manual) about configuration that I should know.

And also, I got the basic system and I read that to find peak frequency, I can look at RTA or the Display Numbers (<-?) window.Since I don't have the RTA, where on that numbers window to I find the peak frequency (or associate it with other numbers)? I might have just missed it, but thought I would ask.

First make sure you set the k-factor. To see your peak # go to the drop down box to display properties and click the button to Show Numeric Data. That pop up windown will show you all the basic info.

Yeah, it was already set, but I went through the motions anyways. I'll just look a little closer next time. Thanks!

look at the graph underneath the numbers...

run a sweep at a fairly loud level

the graph will show the loudest freq of the system.

If u did not get the RTA, thats only peak freq u can find.

Set every number as it says and you will be good.

The numeric data window is a lot better than squinting at a graph and guessing ;)
