2 Fi Bl 18's Vs. 2 Fi Btl 18's

Recommended Posts

I have a Rockford T4000-1bd in a 2007 Tahoe and was wondering which set of subs would give me more SPL?

They will be used daily on music, and be fully loaded.

So what do you guys think?

Should I get 2 Fully Loaded 18'' BL's OR 2 Fully Loaded 18'' BTL's?

I would most definently go with the BTL's

it'll be loud, i think we'll all wanna see the build

BTL > BL on 2,000 watts.

BTL's will destroy the BL's, They ARE designed to be AS LOUD AS POSSIBLE ON MUSIC.

Get BTL's. End of Story, I promise you will not regret it. :drinks: Best woofer I ever had

Official Scores at the Dash. and YES. My Bass Boxing is louder than Burp! - 155.5 DB Drag Burp- 155.6 - IASCA Bass Boxing on music (30 seconds straight) sealed up Builds 1. The Acura Integra build = http://www.stevemead...s/page__st__6802. BLK SIN Build = http://www.stevemead...w-pics-10-6-07/

Fully loaded BTL my buddy Nofear has one 18" on an AQ2200 and it moves with an ok box he hit a 145+ so you'll be just fine with power

once you get them pics

:give_rose:

i need a much better box and i will get much louder. i have a 2 door blazer pretty much so i have a ton of potential in it. the AQ powers the btl quite well and it moves great.

i agree, i jumped up from 2 10" L7's sealed to the BTL is was like "holy shit!, this is what loud sounds like!" haha

maybe 4 18" BL's? still have the power assuming your T4k is putting out prolly 4800rms @ 1ohm

fully load it, the options arent going t to make it where 2200rms isnt enough 2200 is plenty for one.

less power just accordingly adjust box specs

people fail to realize they ARE 2k rms

I was going to say I had my BTL's running of a pair of A3000's strapped with the gains set to put out 3600 for the pair, and my BTL's were moving quite well, but I also had a larger box and alot of port area (14cf after port and displacement and 180sq.in. port). Go with the BTL's and you'll be happy

My System:

Pioneer AVH-P3200BT

4-Dayton 7 inch reference series (front doors)

8-Onkyo 3/4 inch tweeters (dash)

1-Sundown Audio 100.4D (mids/highs)

2-18" BTL's (for now)

Crescendo 3kwp (for sale)

Complete rebuild coming soon...

maybe 4 18" BL's?

I would keep my Two BTL 18's vs. Four BL 18's, good luck with whatever choice you make.

5,040 watts :hairtrick:
