Guest KyleCannon
For under 200? I would suggest looking at Ebay. Try Focal's Polyglass line or K2P Line. They are some of the best money can buy. I have them and they are the best speakers I have ever heard. I also have never heard 6x9 as loud as theirs. http://cgi.ebay.com/Focal-165K2P-K2-UV-6-5...1QQcmdZViewItem But then again, thats more than 200$. But you will no regret it at all. Boon
That went pretty quickly from best sounding 6.5's to best sounding 6.5's on a budget DLS and Rainbow make some very good sounding speakers that should be in your price range. Money no object? Arvus. They make drivers that go into $140k home setups but every now and then they release raw drivers to the public here. Hand-laid carbon fibre cones, machined aluminium phase plugs, quad voice coils and neo magnets on a 6.5" driver Cost is pretty crazy though. Forgot to mention Scan/Speak, their cut paper drivers are naiiiiiis. 10.x volts fo' life!
