actually its 5 D3100 on 2 T15k ;) My Tahoe has 7, caddy has 5.

that has nothing to do with the batts though, the design of the amps is the reason it doesnt need very many batteries. A normal "30,000 watt" system would need more for SURE.

Plus, if I'm not mistaken, the Caddy is only doing 15000 to the subs and 10000 on highs. Am I wrong there?

And the T15K has hybrid technology like Steve said. That's why the Caddy only has two alternators and sufficiently supplies those amps.
