Auxiliary Trunk Battery Question

Hey guys, i got a question on batteries and keeping voltage up. Whats the difference in putting in the biggest Auxiliary (Trunk) battery in the trunk. I understand this is done to keep voltage up, but whats the difference between using a PowerMaster D2400 to D3100? If you guys had my set-up w/ a PM5100r upfront, big three, and plan on running about 3k rms between an Aq2200d and Aq4x90. I figure that a PM2400 should do fine, but what would be the advantage to running a PM3100. Would my car hold a higher voltage or what??

Also, i understand that i need a H.O. alt, ill get asap, but i wanna get the batt first only because 1) i figure it would be cheaper, and 2) if my alt takes a shit on me, i can have my parents buy me a 1 out of necessity instead of my wants.

Stabalize and raise voltage as close to 14.4v unless using MLA module/16v. I understand this is done to keep voltage up, but whats the difference between using a PowerMaster D2400 to D3100? One is bigger than the other with larger reserve, higher aH, larger in size and able to power high wattage systems. If you guys had my set-up w/ a PM5100r upfront, big three, and plan on running about 3k rms between an Aq2200d and Aq4x90. I figure that a PM2400 should do fine, but what would be the advantage to running a PM3100. Would my car hold a higher voltage or what??get the d3100... thats my exact amp setup and thats perfect

Their is no signifigant voltage difference between the powermaster 2400 and the 3100.

your battery will charge at whichever voltage the vehicle tells the alternator to charge at, unless you buy something the the MLA module, and have a increased charging voltage

The real difference between the 2400 and 3100 is size.

bigger battery = more power

the 3100 has a higher amp rating, and a higher Ah rating, the bigger those numbers the better.
