mr.p Posted January 25, 2009 Report Posted January 25, 2009 my mmats amps come with a giant flyer saying dont mount to the F$@! box lol, i guess theres some parts that dont like it too much at all, and are particularly sensetive, so i mounted mine on a piece of 3/4 oak ply and mounted it to my explorer's floor. and ive had no problems, noobtastic had problems with his crunch shuting off, so he mounted it more solidly and it fixed that problem....so i say mount it as solid as possible. the rubber mounting feet idea im mixed about as having the amp solid vs floating on rubber...so which transfers vibration more, a wood floor or a matress?
