I am going to order a Hifonics BXi2608D this weekend to replace my two Crunch sub amps. From all I have read, I can expect ~2200 watts rms @ 1 ohm out of it. Question is, I have a factory 136 amp alternator, Kinetik 1400 and a Kinetik 600. I know I'll need to upgrade fuses, too. Right now, I am seeing 14.2v at the rear battery with no drop. So the theory goes with Kinetik you get as much battery as you run RMS, so I need about 2600 if I still plan on running 400 watts rms for a mids/highs amp??? Can I get a second Kinetik 600 considering don't plan on pushing this thing that hard, and I already do once a month on a charger/maintainer? So I need 2600 worth of their batteries. 1400 + 600 + 600 = 2600 ...and since the 600s are only ~$119, I think that will work for me!
