Coolwazabi
i know there isn't a perfect answer.. but i'm wanting a very general answer... i'm thinkin about getting either 1 15" 2 12"s or 4 10" push 2500w either way... how much louder would 2 12"s be over 1 15" and 4 10"s be over 2 12"s ? cause i know more cone area and subs = louder... AI James
there isnt even a general answer to this, the best you can do is add the total cone area, then that isnt even going to tell you all that much because of install dependancy
kingsuv
By a little math, 4 10's will give you more cone area then the others, and would ( in theory ) be louder then the others. However there is soo much more to it then cone area . You have to take into account the setup, power, car , and tuning. Once you have all the variables then we can have a better idea to help you out. I mean the first minute is ok but that thing just really starts digging deeper and deeper in your earhole till you cant stand it no more. Seems like it does it with relative ease....16 12's on 8 amps.........gotta love it.
