bennett15
wondering if this amp http://www.dealercostcaraudio.com/bxi2608d.aspx will be a good match for a fully loaded dual 1 ohm 18" fi ssd and wondering what a good ported box design would be for a 95 ext. cab ram? E a r t h
weird link lol, takes you back to the begining of SMD. but honestly, that amp is a bit too much for an ssd. however, you could always turn it down low and have some headroom for more later. 2 ssd subs would be sweet with it though

bkolfo4
Look in the technical section of the Fi forum. box recommendations and option explainations are pinned. http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/forum/i...?showtopic=7156 Quote Current system: 1997 Blazer - (4) Customer Fi NEO subs with (8) American Bass Elite 2800.1s Previous systems: 2000 Suburban - (4) BTL 15's and (4) IA 40.1's = 157.7 dB at 37 Hz. 1992 Astro Van - (6) BTL 15's and (6) IA 40.1's = 159.7 dB at 43 Hz. bkolfo4
Sorry, I did not see it was not there. According to Scott, the BP option for the SSD plugs the pole vent and adds the cooling channels for increased power handling. Sniper
hell, im looking at dropping a BXi2608D on my BL (fully) but I have no idea if its worth buying that big of an amp, 'cause I dont think that amp will agree with stock power system >.> (too broke to up crap, maybe a second bat, but I dunno) Quote 1997 Pontiac Grand Am SE Broke stock Head Unit Stock speakers suck -if I get a job, it gets 2 SA 8s in a 2.5cube box (roughly 2 cube with the port and woofers in)- -oh, and a new HU and some speakers that dont suck. and possibly a new muffler and tint job (previous owners tint is smudging in the back, if you know how to get tint off a window without damaging the heating stuff, let me know!!!)-
