troycartertc Posted February 2, 2009 Report Posted February 2, 2009 ok my gf started getting into my system. she wants to take mine. and thats not happening. so i started looking into some cheap entry level woofers ad came upon some hifonics HFi12d4 woofers. rated at 300rms apeice dual 4 ohm voice coils always been a fan of hifonics amps so maybe i can luc kup on these. can i get some input on these woofers. maybe comparable to a sony xplod or rockford p1's. hifonics woofers link^^^^^

PTcary on here built a wall with several hifonics woofers and it's supposed to sound pretty good. eliassami5 Posted February 2, 2009 Report Posted February 2, 2009 ive got a pair and they are great for only being 35 bucks a pop. The only negative i have with them is that the plastic piece covering the motor is a loose fit and at higher frequencies it rattles around and makes a buzzing sound, but if you remove it then thats not a prob. Memphisman Posted February 2, 2009 Report Posted February 2, 2009 i agree.. i have 2 of them, and they hit pretty hard for the price, they have lasted a long time so far as well.. i was gonna drop 2 more in just to see how loud i can get them since they are just so cheap
aznboi3644 Posted February 3, 2009 Report Posted February 3, 2009 yeah for 70 bucks a pair they pound real well. They love the lows...I'm thinking of doing four of them just for shits cuz they are so cheap.
