la negra Posted February 4, 2009 Report Share Posted February 4, 2009 so today i took out the amber lense out of my headlight. its kinda simple but u need about 2 hrs and patience. heres a link to a good write up on how to do it. cuz i suck at them lol link a couple of pixs in the oven say the magic words (lets act like i didnt try to put it back on for the pic) and bye bye ugly lense the finshed product glue ur lights back up with Permatex Black Silicone 16b. make sure to use a good amount and nice and even. u dont want it to leak. eliassami5 Posted February 5, 2009 Report Share Posted February 5, 2009 you should have used 1000grit sand paper and some headlight restorer on the headlight cover while you had it off to get it back to original color instead of that yellowish tint that it has on right now. But looks good i put a real lite coat of night shade awhile back. but i dont see the yellowishness ur talkin about. it just could be the light so idk.
