Big 3 Got Some Questions.

Recommended Posts

i just did the big 3 in my 99 f150.

i went from the alternator directly to the battery.

no problems with it, just wondering why dont they do that stock?

and where does the stock wires go to? i goes to maybe a starter relay or something and also there is a fuseable link?

Stock wire does ultimately get to the battery, I guess its not cost effective for the automakers to put a separate wire to connect directly to the battery. Make sure you use a fuse in your new wire.

well your car uses the minimum gauge for it's electrical. once you start adding all that stereo stuff, then you go over the car's standard wire.
