Andrew2944r
Yeah I bought some KNU to look at the diffrence between it and Hyper Flex, needles to say I make the KNU my ground wire, Kicker I found with mine it was bigger than the KNU but a bit less flexible Quote Team Ampere Audio

creyc
Why do they let these companies get away with calling these cables "1/0" when it's obvious they don't even fit in some crimp connectors. If a 1/0 cable doesn't carry enough current for your needs you should be using 2/0, or larger. Decaf
i think the knu is twisted less inside the pvc jacket also... thus it is technically also a shorter length of internal wire meaning a run of hyperflex thats 20ft, might actually be 25ft of wire, 20ft of jacket whereas knu might be 23ft for 20ft of jacket... might seem trivial but i bet it matters in high amperage app.

Derrick824
My final thoughts are that the differences are trivial for the everyday consumer. Both brands will work equally well. Yes the KnuFleks was more flexible but it took making a 180* bend to show the difference and you should never have to do a bend like that in a car. The HyperFlex is plenty flexible as well as RF's Competition Flex which to the touch is an identical feel and flexibilty to HyperFlex. The KnuFleks does have about 10% more strand count resulting in more current capability but the only true way to know the difference there would be to test it and I don't feel the need to go that far with this. As for price KnuFleks is $162.50 + $15.99 shipping for 50ft. http://www.knukonceptz.com/productDetail.c...rodID=KFX0BK-50 The best price I could find for HyperFlex was 50ft for $159.95 w/ free shipping. http://cgi.ebay.com/KICKER-PWB050-1-0-AWG-...p3286.m20.l1116
