thehoe92 Posted September 6, 2009 Author Report Posted September 6, 2009 welp I did it when I took them off it wasn't nice so I broke a few heads off a few bolts so I had to improvise to get the running boards back on good thing my dad always has bolts. pictures will be up later and hobby I have never had the tweeters in the doors so I can't compare to that. chevy puts them in the a-pillars stock on the '03+ models. it sounds great though brings the sound stage up almost level to your ears just make sure you play around with the positioning to get it how you want either facing each other, facing the windshield or facing you. on these comp sets the tweeters are so bright and over powering I turned the treble on my headunit down to 0 out of +7 and it still is able to be louder than the bass and sound great doing it. so overall I would recommend it just make sure you have clearance behind the a-pillar so you aren't cutting anything out. Wouldnt be thehoe92 without teh purple

thehoe92 Posted September 15, 2009 Author Report Posted September 15, 2009 so overall I say fuck rain! water spots on mah new rims luckily my neighbors all have tahoes with rims and one of them hooked me up with some nice polish. this shot turned out nice got some 10 gauge on the subs finally they were starvin the place where the bose used to be will be pounded out or I will grab so normal ones from the junk yard. these will end up being black to finish the doors. tweets tweetin I used the stock plug for easy disconnect. soldered and heat shrunk still haven't really got the EQ dialed in just right I was messing with it tonight and I think I might have it where I like it. treble on the deck at 0 and high pass at 120hz Wouldnt be thehoe92 without teh purple
