Scapelli21
I have only used Kicker amps up til now in which I have 2 1500's and the setting are a little confusing to me. Can someone please explain them and what I should have the LPF, Subsonic, and Phase? Scapelli21
Oh yeah, the manual online for the 1500 says to wire it up using both +'s and 1 -. I would think I use a + and the matching (right next to it) -? E a r t h
ssf is a highpass filter of sorts used to filter out frequencies lower then the set point. most commonly with ported arangements where excursion below tuning can become excessive due to unloading issues. phase usually zero. lpf, this setting lets everything below the set point through.most people like 80ish hz setting, personally i like a little lower. you can use any or all output terminals to your liking. just to clarify, are you wanting to strapp the two 1500s to the havoc? Derrick824
The LPF (low pass filter) is mainly a matter of preference. Set it where it sounds best to you. I keep mine set around 60hz. The Subsonic filter is typically set to just below box tuning. Leave the phase @ 0. Are you strapping these two amps or wiring seperate?
