I dunno if that deck is gonna work out man.

Looks like no sub output, and I'm still looking for definitvie evidence as to no preouts at all...I'll keep checkin tho...

*Edit*

Ok it says it has at least rear preouts so you can run an amp from it but you wont have the non-fading sub control option.

I'd invest in a deck that has a sub preout next if I were you it makes a wrold of Difference IMO.

Alpine, kenwood, pioneer.

In any order you like, you'll really have to "audition" them to know what you "LiKE" I.E. where the buttons are, how easy it is to change settings, how hard it is to take the face off and put it back on (PAIN IN THE ASS ON AN APLINE 9856 BTW).

Go to the nearest audio shop or place they have decks and find a sales guy and have him help you work the demos they have. Fiddle w/ them as much as you have time for b4 you buy, THEY ARE THERE FOR EXACLTY THAT REASON. Most folks are nervous or shy to finger the demos, but it's there so why not take advantage. Find a shop where you can see how the sub-pre outs chnage the loudness of the subs they have hooked up and try multiple configurations (high powered amps/low powered amps/ and just deck power to see what you're gonna be getting into BEFORE you are stuck it)

Other than that, look for 3 rca preouts (Front/rear/sub) so you can build onto it later if you want, and RCA voltage of 4volts or better.

Hope thats some help.

I really like Kenwood.  Is there a certain model that you can think of that is good.  I went to Best Buy and looked at there stuff and they were out of like everything.  Then I went to a local shop and all they had were off band stuff in.  Im having no luck what so ever trying to find one.  I want one with the ipod mini to mini connect on the front too.

Only 1 preout on that one tho. not much to BUILD on.

I'd stick w/ Kenwood tho they are good quality and have the most "front mounted" 3.5mm phono jacks for easy ipod. Otherwise you would actually have better/stronger signal by getting a deck w/ an ipod dock cable hookup via the back end and just run it thru/under the dash. I did that in the Lexus and the mustang. Soon to be in my car just need a damn ipod and cable.

i got a kdc 128 which is about the same.  also that one only had 1 rca out.  ok its like this im going to have 2 12" kicker c12's in a dual ported box w/ a kicker zx400.1 mono amp.  i want to add a fi ssd18 sub in a single box.  prob 1 more amp to go with that and that sounds about good for now.  so would I be able to run all that off a single rca out or do I need the 3 rca out one?  also I know this doesnt have anything to do with receivers, but can you explain the ohms deal to me because Im just not gettin this.  please in dummy because my brain is overworked trying to figure out all of this.  i thought all you did was hook these suckers up and your done.  i was way wrong.
