Quick Wiring ?

Everything you put in line with something helps build up restince(can't spell).

I also feel its safer.

I too also think the use of bolts is (not a bad idea) but not a good one to use in HIGH power applications. Everybody chime in bla bla bla, but like Jon said each place you teminate is going to add resistance.

I too also think the use of bolts is (not a bad idea) but not a good one to use in HIGH power applications. Everybody chime in bla bla bla, but like Jon said each place you teminate is going to add resistance.

even with big fat stainless bolts?

I had 2 runs of 8 going thru the back of the bubs enclosure per sub so I think youll be fine especially if its ported (but some sealant over that area will help also.

I had 2 runs of 8 going thru the back of the bubs enclosure per sub so I think youll be fine especially if its ported (but some sealant over that area will help also.

yeah, definately ported, possibly a t-line, most likely regular ported til I get my second amp and sub :diablo:

i used the bolts myself but i pull my stuff out alot to try diffence setup. but if thats not the case then go with what roscoe said.

As far as the impedance read from solid wire vs. wire/bolt setup I saw no difference on my meter. I tested both because I was having the same concerns, but if anything the rise is negligible.

I guess with very high power applications it would matter, but for a daily driver it's nothing to worry about.
