sean 371
Well I'm glad you're listening to our advice. I feel you on the money situation. When I first started my whole system cost under 200. With h/u, sub, amp, wiring, and box. Oh, and the reason you blew speakers is because you probably tried playin them too loud off the h/u, sent them a clipped signal, and blew them. Or, you don't have an internal crossover on your headunit, and the speakers are playing full range. Or a combination of both. AlpineGuy87
Yea, definately cool to listen to the advice from the people with knowledge. I started off.. all Sony Xplode stuff.. wasn't bad for a first system, but i didnt even have my driver's license yet.. lol.. had to tlak my mom into putting it into her car. lol.. but i kept under 200$ with it also.. But after some time you really gotta figure out that you need to upgrade and get that extra bass you been missing.. Funny thing is i still have my first Sony Xplode Sub.. lol.. its in my room.. but yea, i think selling all those amps for a hifonics amp that will push 1000 @ 1ohm... then selling those subs for an SSD or something.. I really think you would love the replacement. altho you'd hate to part with either subs.. i think you should try to sell the 15 and put towards the SSD, you'll fall in love with it and prolly keep saving for a second.. lol.. or an upgrade to the Q or BL.. lol 06 SCION tC
sean 371
I said this in another thread, but ohm load makes no difference to the sub. The only effect it has is on the amp.
