251customs Posted February 19, 2009 Report Posted February 19, 2009 im running 2 soudsrtream 6500s strapped at 2 ohms on 4 btl 18's. right now i have 2 redtops under the hood and 4 kinetic 2400s in the bed of the truck....dont kill me but i still have the stock alt. i drive an 02 dodge ram and only a few people make an atl that will keep up with my current draw anyways and they are not much bigger that my stock one. so my question is i have 12 g31 optima yellow tops that i just bought. do u think my voltage would be better with the g31s or the 2400s. right now with the 2400s the voltage goes down to low 10s (well low enough to smoke my 10000xxx, so now i got 2 6500xxx's now) im not lookin for 14 or 15 volts i would be happy with a strong 12.5 volts. the big three is done and there is like 5 runs of alt through the truck.... so any help please 02 dodge ram quad cab 4.7 pioneer 9800bt pioneer 5700 dvd(yes 2 headunits 5700 for dvd only) 1 re xxx 15 (new style in center console) 4 18" fi btls in snugtop 12 mb quart 6.5s original ones not maxxsonics (kicks, 3 in each front door 2 in each back door) quart 4" dash sp 2 soundstream xxx6500s 1 pd asa1000.1 for the xxx15 4 pb asa600.4 highs 4 7" screens 1 15" flipdown 2 red tops 16 g31 yellow tops playstation 2 4 8x11 p.a. horns under truck (music plays through them) db 80.2 for horns 2 underglow kits (1 flex kit in fenderwells) 24" martin bros vampires

I Got my stock alt on my F150 built from 95amp to 193 for $175.
