Jensen
I have 2 sets of Phoenix Gold RSd 65cs componet speakers and was wondering how I wire them? What ohm load are they producing? Is it just 4 ohms at the crossover or how does that work....
Jensen
Am going to be wiring these to a 2 channel amp and want to make sure I wire them to produce the correct Ohms load? But am unsure if the speaker and the tweeter are at 4 ohms or how it works?

loganberry
yes the crossover input makes them 4 ohm, wiring them together would be a 2 ohm load...the crossover regulates the ohm load My F-150 Build GET ON THE BANDWAGON what if they tried messing with the amps when the subs werent louder hahah jk

sully
it is less of a problem for low impedance on mids and highs than on subs, most amps will work fine below the recommended ohm load when pushing mids but clip or shut down on subs. If you are worried just hit the wire at the amp connection witha DMM and see where it sits. 2003 Ford F-150 Reg Cab layin body on 26's 2003 Tahoe 3/5 drop on 26's with a 408cid Supercharged engine. 2011 Camaro 2SS 2005 VW GTI Stage II ECU, CAI, 3" turbo back exhaust, FMIC, lowered 2" on some plastidipped 18's 2003 Hayabusa lowered, stretched, cams, nitrous and custom paint
