hey i am purchasing a fully loaded 18" BTL in the next few weeks and i'm lookin for a great amp to use on it for a daily driver that will deliver great spl. I was first looking at a brand new Hifonics BXi 2010D but i got referred the AQ2200D. Will this be a great amp to power my fully loaded 18" daily with out beating it too hard; Since it's only rated at 2000 watts rms?? give me some threads. :good: l8er

that is if it's clean unclipped 3k power

That's why they don't deliver.

Yer ass better go sit along the side of the road and wait.

You can't expect them to travel up some dirt road in a hick / back woods town. Thats how horror movies start :D

I explain things very simply and use analogies in terms of Pickles, and grape drink, pool noodles and jackhammers...if you can't put 2 and 2 together there man, There simply is not much more I can do.

wellllp...audio que says "GOOD STUFF to give you 2200 watts of CLEAN UNCLIPPED POWER @ 1% THD." Plus it's that much power for $389 shipped. I heard from like two people it was a great amp, i guess i pretty much just want to hear that from some other audioque users.

NoFearX18 runs a BTL 18" off an AudioQue 2200D, does 145+.

No need in overpowering a sub when you can get nice results off rated RMS. ;)
