SundownTL3.2 Posted February 23, 2009 Report Share Posted February 23, 2009 ok guys... i tried gluing the hole of the double baffle were sub goest to make a air tight hole..... my local shop suggested glazing with resin the puttin glue over it.... did that and it dried really hard.. will this affect perormance and sound of sub or is it fine?? thanks Ryan Quote 2004 Chevy Tahoe LT........... RamenNoodles Posted February 23, 2009 Report Share Posted February 23, 2009 You should be fine. Theres no real reason why it would affect performance. If the baffles are moving then yes, it can affect performance, but when the subwoofer is moving and the baffle is still rigid, then you will be fine. Might want to drive some screws all over that baffle and then cut the tips on the inside off.
