i doubt it man.

i honestly think port noise is a myth cause ive built boxes with only 1" of port width with 0 noise.

IVE NEVER had port noise.

meh i had a 12 with about the same port width and and same size box and it made some nasty port noise. OP you may be fine vut im going off my expierence

you can use a slightly bigger screw, or throw some electrical tape over the other hole ..... id just leave it there being as its gonna be under the carpet and never seen anyway ...

will like snow or rain coming up from the street get into it and start rusting? cuz if not ill just put tape over it and call it a day.

throw some tape over it .... id do Duct Tape though instead of electrical tape personally.

EDIT: Dont be nervous, if it has port noise just take the box and re do the port a bit bigger and shorter/longer for your desired tuning frequency.

problem with rebuilding box is that my dad cut the wood at his work, cuz he wont let me use his table saw outside when its so cold. but he cant cut any more wood there :/

grab yourself a skill saw.

i didnt even use my first chain saw until i was 18 years old despite my dad being a construction worker/carpenter.

skill saw around 15 as well as a table saw.

im gonna recommend the Ryobi with the Dual laser guides. you can pick one up from Home Depot for around $70. grab some of the Husky saw horses as well. they are pretty decent and start building your tool collection ....

agree with the port, looks a lil to long and skinny? did you use the port box calc? if so did you keep an eye out for your port ratio, and also your sq inch of port per cu ft of box. I really like to stay away from skinny ports... yea there is noise ive had some nastttyyy stuff. If it dose not sound the greatest redo the box with a wider port to get the ratio down and the sq in of port / cu ft of box to around 14. your tunning spot is perfect. i like it in the mid to low 30s.

other then that it looks good for your second install man. I know my first ones i would of never tried a ported box. i always went sealed.... but now i would never go back to sealed..
