Powermaster Reversed Batt Terminal Question

Hey whats up guys

As ya'll can tell by my signature, i have a foreign car. I really dont mind it, but it does suck for me, b/c i need batts with reversed terminals. i was wondering if there is anyway i can turn a powermaster batter around, and used some kind of terminal extension part, so i can run a bigger PM batt un my hood. Im running a 5100r(b/c my terminals are revesed) but i have room for a D2400, which i would like to put upfornt, and a D3100, i would like to put in the back b4 summer. lmk what ya'll ya'll think, or what ya'll know about reversed terminals. thanks in advance

honestly, it wouldnt matter if the terminals were in the center of the battery [5100,5100R]. but they're towards one end if you look, making it to where you need the specific post position due to oem cable length. you can do it, but can be a pia, especially if you have the positive style cable with fuse box attatched to the end of it [ japanese cars mainly]

imho , i would stick an oem size replacement up front and go huge in the rear if possible.

Extend the stock cabling ;/

Just take 2 pieces of 4ga, put a ring lug on each end, bolt one to each factory battery clamp and tape the hell out of it.

it could work but then again if it touched metal even tho its taped up it could still arc I used to have an issue in my cavalier when I had a yellow top in I had a bit of a longer side post in it and every so often my cold air intake would hit it and short it out I had went so far as to put some truck cap tape between them and it would still do it I eventualy gave up and switched out to a powermaster D2400 which works great since it lays on its side and the intake tube sits on top of the case

I am running the 5100r in front and the 3100 in the rear. As for putting the bigger battery in if it will work height and width wise why not give it a shot. All you would have to do is get some connectors that have the rubber boots that go over them. Make your cables longer to fit the new post config. Cut to length. Reinstall in the correct locations and there ya go. Don't use electrical tape. Use Steves method for connecting your cables and connectors using solder. Install your rubber boots over the connectors. I bought my connectors from my local stereo shop. I had to cut the connectors to make them fit into my fuse box, but it works like a charm. Been going over a year now. No problems. I have 1/0 althrough my car.
