CDT M6+ or KICKER CVT 6.5 which would be a better suite for my rear car deck? Want the bass without having to put big subs so im going with som 6.5 inch subs. Which is better? No enclosure though just mounted in rear deck od Audio A4

Not sure about the cdt but I know that the cvt is just a compact sub requireing a small air space not a free air subwoofer.

freeair-kicker comp 8in, jbl gto 8in. Ive put both in like lexus's with blown out rear subs/range rovers, etc...They sound great and get pretty loud. if you're trying to put em in the stock location (and didnt have the 10in sub in the center), just trim the hole out a bit to fit it, those panels are pretty flat iirc.

monster/rockford/kicker/stinger cables, pioneer source, jbl highs/amps, kinetik/shuriken batts, iraggi alt, dei security, dc subs(atleast for now)

man, i just got some CDT M6+ midbass/subbass-es for my doors and they are AWESOME. I've got mine crossed over at 63hz, but they hit that with ease. I haven't heard the Kicker's, but I love my CDT's. I've been listening to my system without my subs on for 2 days now, and it really has been awesome. Only on rap music, do you just really lose a good part of the music. Anyway, I say CDT. FTMFW!!

oh yeah, those CDT's require about 3.4" of clearance. So, keep that in mind!

Why not actually get the Kicker Mibass that are suited for free air use as subs? They make and 8" and 6.5" version.

$70 6.5" Version

$100 8" Version

They come in pairs so it'll prolly end up being cheaper than a cvt.....and they are made for free air use.

i just dont see the ssmb workin good as subs hence there midbass, or made for vocals, i unno but that kicker cvt should work, hell u can build a small sealed box n screw it to the back of the deck if u want to and carpet it if ur not sure about free air lol
