Ok i got a question and i would like everyones opinion. I might have a build im probably gonna do but unsure if it will pound like i want it to. My goal is to be 150+ db :hairtrick: so tell me if this setup will do it. I was thinking of buying 4 Orion HCCA 15.2 subs at 2000rms with 4 Audiopipe Ap-30001d amps at 3000rms at 2ohms all wired with 0 gauge cable a few batteries and a upgraded alternator with a custom ported box in a blazer. Will this setup do the job for my goal and still able to bump daily with regular music? Let me know your opinions thanks...

i think you need the 15.4 not 15.2 because if your running each amp at 2 ohms and 1 amp per sub you need d4

Yeah im sorry but im not a nooby. Ive been doing systems for 6 years. I just have never done a big build before. I found the orions for $400 a piece for 15's and i changed my mind as of only 2 amps would be very suitable for this build of just hitting 150db. but what does everyone else suggest for subs and amp thats similar as mine as well as around the same price or cheaper.

Yeah you still may be able to get the XLs cheaper. If you've never done a big build however, you really need to be scrupulous about your electrical. Just make sure you go with the right batteries and possible two alts minimum to be safe. And definitely one run of 1/0 per amp and redo everything under the hood as well. It sucks going big the first time and blowing shit up like I did back in the day. :D

Yeah i have blown up subs and melted cable and blown amps in the past. This build is gonna be costly but might as well go big the first time then keep going back and spending more money over and over. So i should stick with the 4 ap amps ok then. But what kind of subs are those you guys say i should be running? What are the Xl's? Who are they from and where can i find them?
