i love the box i have now thats tuned at 28 hz as far as the lows go but i wanna be able to play more songs then just the UBER low ones.

i think i read somewhere on here you can tune higher with larger diameter subs and still retain lows ..... really cant decide which is the way to go for me. i love droppin the lows and movin huge amounts of air and dont wanna sacrafice that for higher tuning. but i wanna be able to hit the higher notes with as much authority.

32 or so is what mine is tuned too, it plays the highs real well but my truck dosnt like the high 40's and 50's...sounds like the truck is cracking inside

when i say higher stuff, i mean like high 30 - low 40's.

i think its also depends on your sub, amp's lpf, n subsonic that will affect that. I have an Orion HCCA 12.2, which fs is 22 hz, so even in i tune the box to 38hz, its still gonna drop down to 28hz on some songs, and play it well. If you get a sub w/ a low fs freq, you can tune it alil higher, is what ive found. Like my next box for my Orion, imma make 3.5 cubes tuned to 34hz. so it will still play the lows27hz+ and play the higher bass pretty good to, like 38-50hz...

well im reffering to my 04 f-150 which mine and yours are virtually the same, it plays the lows well, but the higher notes dont sound all that great

yes its what i took to autorama, i didnt find the frequency, didnt really care too. On the ear it sounds 44-46 is the loudest, anything higher sounds just as loud but makes the truck itself sound like ass
