nathan89 Posted March 2, 2009 Report Posted March 2, 2009 I picked up some Rockford Fosgate 2/0 wire today for the ground wires in my car, but the place where I bought the wire didn't have any terminals for it. Just wondering where I can find some at a decent price, and I only need 6.... Quote

Derrick824 Posted March 3, 2009 Report Posted March 3, 2009 Awesome score. I can't believe someone still had any for sale. Your local welding supply will be the best place for terminals. Quote
nathan89 Posted March 3, 2009 Author Report Posted March 3, 2009 Got some terminals from a local CeeKay Welding Supply for only $2.19 a piece....Thanks for the tip guys. Got them to fit really good on the wire too, a lot better than the 'usual' crimp style... at least for me... I heated them up in the vice with mapp gas and melted some solder into them until they were about a third of the way full, and then stuck the wire in while the solder was still a liquid. Once they cooled down I crimped them too. Made a nice fit. Quote
Mikesmith0890 Posted March 3, 2009 Report Posted March 3, 2009 how much did the wire cost you a foot? I'd love some RF 2/0 Quote AlphaDamp Sound Deadening CDL Mat - The best Vibration Damper Ever! Derrick824 Posted March 3, 2009 Report Posted March 3, 2009 Nice price. Most shops were selling that stuff for $10+/ft. Last I talked to our local RF dealer they wanted $8/ft for 1/0awg. Quote
sundownz Posted March 3, 2009 Report Posted March 3, 2009 I used generic rings from e-bay, pried them open, clamped them down on the wire, and soldered them I have a few pieces of that in the Jeep.
