DRAMAQUEEN Posted October 12, 2006 Report Share Posted October 12, 2006 Just got done testing my 12w7, obviously not an spl sub, box or setup but I had to play with my new TL 12w7 2.2^3 tuned to 33 Did a 143.6 @ 46 hz Id like to get another one in there just to see where i would be sitting and make a box tuned around 40hz as well might help, but you never can tell with w7's every box seems to sound the same to me no matter how small or big i go with enclosure size and port.. So many ppl have so many different opinions on that sub its crazy.. But i would like to hear 2 12w7s in my trunk and actually break 150.. I could go through mdf all month trying to find a good one.. David Posted October 12, 2006 Report Share Posted October 12, 2006 no offense man but the W7 is not a SPL Sub period, will it do spl? yes, but not nearly as well as say a RE MT or DD 99 series or Atomic APXX I have seen so many W7's I have even Installed one, They Sound Really Nice and get decently loud.
