Got_Bass89 Posted June 20, 2009 Author Report Posted June 20, 2009 Alright so been bumpin the sundown for about a week and thought i'd share my little review. Will also put in amp section.. So swapped from Hifonics bxi2008 to sundown saz1500... Amp settings pretty much same... Running the same 1ohm load on 4x 12" kicker cvr's. Stock 60amp alt yellowtop up front and C&D technologies 270 in back, 1run pos and 1run neg 1/0. Before I use to drop to 12v - 12.2v full tilt idle with the hifonics and like 12.5 with rev... Now the sundown drops to 13v - 13.2v idle and like 13.4v with rev.. Also IMO and alot of other people share my opinion that sundown saz1500 puts out about 1700 clean which turned out to be not quite as loud as the hifonics... And I know alot of people talk about hifonics being over rated so that should show that its doing pretty close to rated.. 1800-2000... I ran both amps daily slammin.. Both get warm but never Hot so both very reliable.. Also the FOLDING knife and metal/wood roller... No cheap plastic stuff like other kits i've had came with which I broke after a while of use...
