B Slaps Posted March 8, 2009 Report Posted March 8, 2009 I can get 14 ply Oak Or Apple 14ply... But to damn expensive... So i just stick to the 1" MDF....Its cheap Strong and Looks better in my OP... Decaf Posted March 8, 2009 Report Posted March 8, 2009 ive used both in small applications i like the consistant density of mdf ive found that only the 13ply baltic birch thats 69 at menards is almost voidless, everything else isnt perfect as a cheap subsititute for looks, ive been using birch venered mdf.... looks real with all of the sound qualities of mdf Quote
