Ight. this is whats up..

As of right now. I'm runnin 1 ma audio hk4000 on 4 cvr 15s.

In about a month I'm UPGRADIN to 4 dc level 4 15s.

The BIG question is...Should I get another hk4000 (get em for cheap from a local dealer) or run an atomic 5000.1 (got a hella good deal)

Now I kno the hk4000s say [email protected] 2 would be killer on my electrical.

So suggestions on what to do would be helpful.

Hard to say. The 2 HK's together are very very hungry but will make more power than a single AT5000.1

But then the HKs are awful awful amps and blow up, aside from being hungry and not making rated power without 18v shoved up them.

I'm tempted to say sell the HK, get an Atomic and then get another Atomic later

agreed, but the single atomic amp is going to be harder on your electrical system then the single "Hard Kore" amp, if not 2 HK amps, and with out the proper electrical it will go pooof too.

Be ready to expect a 600+ currrent draw from the Atomic amp.

I say upgrade your alt, and batteries, and maybe a couple runs of 1/0 front to back, then worry about buying a amp, and just use the HK for the time being til you get the electrical done up right.

I hav a H/O 220 amp alt...I'd just hav to add more batteries...
