if you do the port 15" H X 2" W it will extend into the box 20.25" for 28HZ

i would avoid making is that thin. keep the same port area, but different dimensions. you dont want to squeeze the air out as it can cause some port noise. i forget exactly...but i think it's a 1:6 or a 1:8 ratio of width to length, granted that 2x15 is 1:7.5, i would still try to reconfigure a little

dont mean to jack the thread but i was wondering

if your building a box for lets say 2 12"s or 2 15"s in a ported box do you take the recomended ported size for one sub times 2?

I always go for no more than a 8:1 ratio.
