a_steezy
it's kind of a bad situation because I paid quite a bit for the box to be build and I got a nice deal on them blown or not blown. It might just be worth it to get them fixed assuming that they can be fixed without doing this shit again shitty situation either way but if they were cheap then you gotta kinda think something's up Quote '98 Dodge Durango 5.9L 5% front windows, 2.5% on all backs Alpine CDA-9883 Kicker ZX350.4 Kicker KS650's in all doors Kicker 1/0 hyperflex

Owners1
I used a ported enclosure designed by PWK. here's the pictures I took. Not sure if they are correct but this is the sub that isn't COMPLETELY blown but I can definitely feel it rubbing when I push on it. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v248/Owners1/DSC00596.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v248/Owners1/DSC00597.jpg Quote Hummer H2 ( Crossfire XS V2 15's (4) Crescendo Audio BC 5500s (16) Crescendo 6.5's, (16) Crescendo Tweeters, (4) Beyma 8" Midrange http://www.youtube.com/Owners1
Boon
Either they've been sold to you blown/burnt or he did a TERRIBLE job reconing them (didn't shim the coil) and they have rubbed/seized on the gap. You'll know when you pull them apart. If the one that only played for a few seconds isn't all brown (or there's wear on the coils making it obvious that they've hit the pole or motor) then he just failed miserably at reconing. They changed that, if you can prove you actually own a DD Motor then you can order a recone.I don't even mess with re coning I just send it back to DD Quote 'If it ain't broke, don't fix it,' unless you're a tweaker, and in that case you already fixed it ten times and it's still broken. - Dave Mustaine
