banginAltima
my car is a 98 grand prix. only the armrest in the back folds down and i have the box ported throug there. so any ideas for tis kinda car? also what would i change on the radio/ amp? Even though you are ported through the armrest you are still losing some pressure from the subs. Try to build a box with the port and sub pressure going through the armrest. Also if you have any speakers in your rear deck, take them out. You don't really need them anyway as long as you have mids and highs up front. The more airflow you have going into the cabin area of the car the better. If you build it, db's will come... Nightshade
Troy, listen to Bangin. He definately knows how to get a trunk car loud. The Grand Prix's can get loud. There is a member on Termpro that has one with 2 10's and is doing over a 150 with the enclosure in the trunk. You just have to put the time and effort in it. 2013 VW Jetta GLI 2.0 Turbo 1 Sundown Audio SCV2000 1 Sundown Audio X15 V2 1 XS Power D3100 Audio Control LC6i Stock Deck 146.4 sealed on the dash at 37hz 2001 Focus ZX3: RETIRED Team Sundown Audio, Team XS Power, 2 time NSPL Car 3601-Up Champion, 2 time NSPL Car Hardcore ChampionHighest NSPL Scores to date:154.3db on the dash sealed at 46hz, 156.2db in the kick at 46hz155.2db unofficial on dash at 43hz
uhoh_45
would also help if you found what note your cars peaking at and find a song to that frequency dont just play something that sounds loud to the ear because its tuned lower bassrace takes a lot of time and practice to fine tune your system and to find a song that plays in your vehicle better then the rest...
