dwright27
Has anyone had a problem with any of these products falling off or coming loose? We covered the roof of my brothers truck with 2 layers of that cheap shit he got on ebay. We cleaned the roof with acetone before putting it on. We used a heat gun to make it extra sticky & rolled it on with a solid wood roller. Well we took a peek under his headliner about 6 months later & it was coming loose in several places? Are some brands better than others in this area? apparently the hushmat sticks like a mutha!! Quote 2006 F-150 4 DC XL M2 18's Walled Daily Driver XS Power 4 DC 3.5kw Team DC Team S.P.L. jsmoke222000
I'm sure that it has alot to do with how you apply it. The surface must be clean. That's why we used acetone to clean the roof off first. I'm not sure if heating it up really helps it stick better or not but it sure makes it easier to work with. Quote Jared Nixon A.K.A. They do not stand behind their products & their customer service is horrible. They do not actually manufacture lowering springs, they drop ship them from Spring Tech. RamenNoodles
I cleaned it off twice before applying. Dried it off just to make sure. Applied it using a head gun and a roller. Trust me, I did it just fine, the shit is just junk. Regardless of how you drive a Daewoo, its still a Daewoo and it will be shit no matter how you treat it.
