The Performer
Yeah you've got it paired correctly then, that amp should be stable at 2 ohms. Sub's are still in good condition? I've experience occasions where a sub blows and created a heavier load to the amp causing it to go into protect. Then I've seen cases where the amp was just simply too sensitive to heat and overheated when it technically shouldn't have. Where is the amp mounted? And does it have good airflow and ventilation around it? Quote CERTIFIED BITCHES!!! Not being new at something doesn't mean anything. bennett15
it might just be time to replace the amp dont really know anything else could be making it go into protect when it feels like it Quote 98 Dodge Durango 12 000K 50/55W Headlights 12 000K 35W Fog lights HU Panasonic CQ-VX100 7" Reciever (1) Fi SSD 18" Fully Loaded (1) Ported box 33hz (1) Soundstream TRX1500D (1) Soundstream TRX2.440 (1) RE 6.5" Component Set (1) Rear battery Big 3 in 0/1 gauge 2 runs of 1/0 Gauge wire 250A Alt soon.. The Performer
it might just be time to replace theamp dont really know anything else could be making it go into protect when it feels like it He might be right, as any kind of electrical component I can only assume that if you throw an amp into protect ALOT of times, I guess it could be possible that the thermal sensor could have gotten weaker over time and simply cuts into protect easier and with less heat than it should.
