Don't know what to call it. But recently my SAZ-3000d has been kicking on a sec or two after I turn on my headunit. Could it be maybe bad connection on the remote? Wierd thing is that it does not happen all the time.

It could be a bad connection. Are you just running a single amp? I had two amps off a alpine 4 volt preamp and mine slowed down. I forgot what it was called now but i made it 12volt and now its much faster. hope it helps.

I've always had that in my car weather it be my Sundown amps or not. Even my Cerwin Vega EXL400.4 takes a second or two to kick on. You may try putting a realy on the amp's remote wire to kick on when you turn the car on instead of when you turn the radio on. That way it's on and ready, but it's not really that big of a deal.

No its not. My amp works like a champ. I will check my connections today and mess with my wiring. To answer fis10 question, I only have the one sundown amp.

Thanks for the help guys
