liftedranger08
I think im gona just keep my cerwin vega 15s and just recone them. They are dvc 4 ohm cerwin vega vmax 15s. Does anybody know where to get recone kits for them? I found out why they are smelling. The subs only have like 500 rms and im putting like 650-700 to each of them. 01xtreme
There are very few companies who actually sell recones. Your best bet would be to call CV and see if they will take it in to fix (recone) it for you. 01xtreme
Damn. Cerwin Vega vmax subs slam like no tomorrow but in the wrong enclosure sounds like shit -.- Edited for accuracy. I've heard a pair of them before, and they sounded pretty good. idk about saying they slam, but they get down pretty well for what they are. liftedranger08
Thanks guys. They hit pretty hard. I believe i can hit 150dbs with them. I hit 149 dbs with them in a wall tuned to 40 Hz and they should hit harder after reconing them. liftedranger08
I just called CV, and the guy said that they do not have recones for the vmax subs. He said my only option would be to go to simplyspeaker.com and get like a replacement for it. Do yall think this is the same or should i invest in new subs?
