My Midbass Doesn't Sound Loud Outside?

Recommended Posts

First of all this is what I have for my midbass:

Running off a eD NINE.2 Amp:

Model Name : NINe.2 Amplifier

RMS Power @ 12.5v : 2 x 100W @ 4 Ohm, 2 x 200W @ 2 Ohm

RMS Power (Bridged) @ 12.5v

My thoughts:

My midbass sounds great and pretty loud when I'm in my car. But when I get out to see how loud it is, it's not very loud compared to others.

For example, I've been in many situations at a red light where I can hear the other car's midbass next to me really loudly.

Are those mofo's death or what? What's going on here? Is my car just well insulated? Because with my current midbass, I don't think I'd enjoy anything louder.

I swear almost every car that drives by me sounds insanely louder than my car.

I know once I deadened my door I lost just about all midbass and vocals coming through my door......pretty funny my brother is always like..."Listen to how loud my speakers are!....why aren't yours loud outside?"....the reason: I have 4-5layers of deadener on my doors.

Nope. I haven't deaden my doors.

However, I'm probably going to try that SS Damp in my doors once I get the money. Or I might just get eDead 120. I'm not sure yet.

My car is going to sound badass inside :spiteful:

ha ....i supose u listen to music inside your car ....why does it matter how does it sound outside

It just shocks me when I hear how loud people's midbass are when they drive by. I don't understand how they can listen to music that loud (midbass wise)

it shocks me you have a good enough ear to hear just the midbass and not the highs as well :P

my subs don't sound that loud outside but once inside they are killers.

just more incentive for people to actually come in your car and have a listen I guess.

Wouldnt be thehoe92 without teh purple
