Even at 2 ohm after 8 hours full tilt mine stays cooler than my headunit screen.... i know you're tight on cash, pick some pennies and save a little, 1ohm is scary territory with lower quality amps. Only thing I will say is make sure you have the juice to back it up. that amp doesnt like low voltage. If it drops below like 11.9 it will kick into protect. One of the best sounding amps Iv ever owned though. Vehicle: 2001 Ford Escape Head Unit: Kenwood Kdc-x592 All out for a rebuild. New shit coming in the next 30 days.
