etaks_crew
are you saying two lvl 3's Vs. one lvl 4/ an Xl? Edit. Nevermid you edited when I did lol. I dont know I have wondered this to. When I started my build I was like alot of lower power subes or two high powered subs. There alot of ground pounders with cheap subs that get loud but then there are people with just one or two badass subs that get just as loud. Forevrbumpn
I would say 2 lvl3- 12s, or 1- 15" Quote I have a ritual called "terminator". I crouch in the shower in the "naked terminator" pose. With eyes closed I crouch for a minute and visualize either Arnie or the guy from the 2nd movie. I then start to hum the T2 theme. Slowly I rise to a standing position and open my eyes. It helps me get through my day. The only problem is if the shower curtain sticks to my terminator leg. It sorta ruins the fantasy.

etaks_crew
Seeing that its the same power I agree that the two 12's would be louder than one Cone area FTW but one 15 would do good too.
Crump
I would say 2 lvl3- 12s, or 1- 15" So your saying 1 15" xl will be better? 2 12s withe the same power has much greater potential than 1 12. So if i can fit the 15 would that be better than the two 12's Quote Team gg Team doa Installs I have doneMy 2010 Rebuild 144 db so far....2 DC xl 10s Firing into cabin on a RF 25002 12" AQ HD's powered by a Saz 2k + Lots o Mids+Highs

I cant give the Xl the wattage it craves, 1360 birthsheet holds me back, so i guess the two 12's with a big ass box and a big ass port will be good then Quote Team gg Team doa Installs I have doneMy 2010 Rebuild 144 db so far....2 DC xl 10s Firing into cabin on a RF 25002 12" AQ HD's powered by a Saz 2k + Lots o Mids+Highs
Forevrbumpn
So your saying 1 15" xl will be better? Well, lets say on average, a 12" sub has a cone area of about 70 -80sq inches a 15" can range from 150- 170sq inches, based on surround So they come really close to evening out with cone area. Better for Rusty if you buy the 2 subs, vs 1 larger sub But in my opinion, if given the chance to do equal cone area on 2 subs, vs 1 sub, I would do 1 sub Quote I have a ritual called "terminator". So if i can get the box to 16" Will the sub fit? The cut out is 14" and the internal box height is 14.5 so i just dont know any tips?
